TRAVERSE Job Cost is a fully integrated TRAVERSE application that addresses the needs of companies who need to track the progress of projects or jobs.
Job Cost provides a purchase order function for project related transactions and a time ticket entry function for tracking time charges.

There are three different screen types available for projects, phases and tasks. As you move from project to phase to task using a simple tab method you are given the opportunity to select any one of these screens.

With TRAVERSE Job Cost you can define the structure of the project and make decisions about how the project levels will accrue costs and how billing will be handled. You'll also be able to get information on project-to-date costs compared to estimates. The history screens provide billing, cost and profit information on a month-to-date, year-to-date, and project-to-date basis.

Additional Job Cost Features and Reports:
  • assign different GL distribution codes to each project, phase or task level
  • assign different tax classes to each project, phase or task level
  • assign up to ten different cost rates to each employee using user-defined descriptions
  • enter time tickets using a time-saving batch processing capability
  • use Accounts Payable transaction entry to apply charges directly to projects or jobs
  • transfer materials directly from inventory to projects or jobs
  • bill for deposits on projects
  • place billing holds on projects or phases
  • apply deposits or advances directly against invoices in AR transaction entry
