 From Where You Are To Where You Want To Be. Need to convert or append your version 5.x OPEN SYSTEMS® Accounting Software data to TRAVERSE97®? It's quick and simple. All you need is Import Wizard and you're on your way. The conversion process is table-driven and can be easily customized; you can review and change the data, the conversion process, the temporary tables, the append process, and the TRAVERSE97 table data as you import data. You'll have the flexibility to run the complete import all in one step or in several steps. Import Wizard allows you to interrupt the data conversion process and re-start it whenever you choose.; no need to start over again. Data can be interactively edited to fix problems and invalid characters can be automatically eliminated or replaced. "Flat file" or non-relational data is converted to relational data. Related records are automatically created; for example, if a customer has a terms code that doesn't exist in the terms code file, Import Wizard will automatically create it. You can print reports on source and TRAVERSE97 data, as well as the status of the import process. The program also displays the status of each file being imported. And, you'll be able to "fix" bad data by assigning defaults to fields that may be blank in source data. In addition to providing a data conversion from OSAS to TRAVERSE97, Import Wizard makes it possible for the experienced user to import data from fixed width text files, delimited text files, and Access tables. |
